Montréal 2012

I spent this past weekend in the beautiful city of Montréal with a very close friend of mine. The weather was absolutely gorgeous which made sightseeing and picture taking all the more pleasant. I had a lot of "firsts" in Montréal like having my first beavertail, first sangria, and attended my first Cirque du Soleil show! They say a picture is worth a thousand words so enjoy the pictures I've posted below of my visit!

A Magical Experience

I'm back from my vacation in sunny Florida! Arrived in Toronto at 2:00 am this morning and took many intermittent naps throughout the day. Spending my Christmas with the family in Florida at Disney was truly a wonderful experience - something that I will always cherish because visiting Disney World had been a childhood dream of mine. We spent 4.5 days at Disneyworld (including Downtown Disney) and spent one day per park. I have no idea how people can visit more than one theme park per day because each Disney theme park is MASSIVE. Not to mention the long wait times for the most popular rides - these can definitely take a large chunk of your time. Luckily though, my friends had told me about Disney's Fastpass system which enabled my family and I to bypass the long wait times (sometimes as long as 3 hours!) thus waiting only for a maximum of 10 minutes before going on the popular rides...

Fourth year that is. Apologies for the lack of posts lately as I've been extremely busy and swamped with my studies, research, med apps, and studying for exams. However, more posts should follow this one as I just finished my last exam today! I can't believe that another year has almost passed and 2012 is nearing. I'll probably be posting a bit more during this holiday season. Guess where I'm headed off to?
